Featuring a new sport shoe worth celebrating.

Prada for the win! We knew eventually a major fashion house would break out of the chunky, thick sole fitness shoe trend (which frankly, has been around a little too long) and elect for an option that is streamlined while maintaining a sporty look. Prada has done just that with it’s newly released “Collapse Re-Nylon and suede sneakers”. While not the most catchy name, these shoes will leave you begging for more. If you enjoy a ballet flat or flats in general, this shoe will “wow” you. Lighter than air and so very flexible, this shoe almost feels like wearing nothing at all.
Made of a recycled nylon with leather lining and rubber sole (with geometric pattern tread) and full lace-up, these sneakers give the feel of a ballet flat and the look of a sporty sneak. Logo placement is delicate at the tongue of the shoe. With the full lace-up you feel solid in these shoes. In our opinion, more solid than in a ballet flat. More importantly, you feel in control of your feet. The recent chunky soles can allow for a trip and a scuff but not these. You’ll feel like you are walking on air, while solid on the ground. Also, important for those with foot issues (bunions, hammer toes, etc) is that these shoes won’t rub you the wrong way. The flexibility is felt in every step.
The price tag is hefty at $975, to be expected at Prada. But this is one of those luxury items that you will wear everyday. They come in four colors: Ivory, Black, Burgundy and Navy. Which is the right color for you? The one that they have in stock in your size. They are selling fast and rightly so.
